Why are Disney, Women's March, Planned Parenthood, Me Too and Times Up Promoting Pedophilia?

Back in late September, early October 2018, I started receiving text messages to attend the Women’s March on October 4 to protest Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court.  The vote was looming and because it was very close, the organizers wanted as much support as possible.  Although it was on a work day, I vehemently opposed Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court because I believe every word Dr. Ford said and I know he did it.  So, I decided to go.

It was a beautiful, clear, warm autumn day and I took photos (attached).  The organizers included Women’s March, Planned Parenthood and The Center for Popular Democracy (CPDA).  We called out the (powerless) chants as we made our way to Kavanaugh’s former courthouse.  It was there that I noticed the LGBTQ flag in front, and directly above and below it on the same pole were two pedophile flags.  The only reason I knew about this "MAPs" or minor attracted persons" flag as they call it was because a church member posted on Facebook a picture of the flag at an LGBTQ march alerting people what it was.  Another person commented that the LGBTQ community would never allow  "pedophilia to be normalized."  And here, just a few months later, I see it displayed at a women’s march.  I'm thinking, "This DOES NOT reflect my interests."  And aren't women (mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters) supposed to be the first "gatekeepers" and protectors of children?  But nobody else seemed to mind.

It was as if anything goes, for this pedophile flag to be flagrantly waved and displayed. Yet if I'd waved a Pan African flag, they would have had me removed immediately.  It made me feel sick and deflated; and it defeated the purpose of who and what we were supposed to be protesting:  A sexual predator of a minor.  It also became painfully obvious why I don't attend (white) women’s marches; they simply do not represent my interests.  The head of #MeToo Movement is Black.  But just because you put a Black face on something, does not mean it's empowering or relevant to Blacks or that it benefits collectively.  The original women’s movement was hijacked by white women who were then strategically placed in positions for their benefit as a whole.  I think the same of the #MeToo Movement.

We then marched to the Supreme Court steps.  The mood became a bit somber as women and men gave their accounts of sexual assault.  But it started to become high energy, especially after Amy Schumer spoke.  The atmosphere was becoming hotter, both literally and figuratively.  I'd gone to buy water to cool off and lost sight of Jennifer.  The crowd of about 5,000 was getting ready to march to the Senate dome when I saw a tall, dark, Black man with a clergy collar (one of the very few Black men there) and asked him what he thought.  He simply looked at the now chaotic, anxious crowd and said, "We need to turn back to God."

During my commute to work the next day and the weeks after, I could not help but to think of the previous days' events.  I could not escape the thought of the pedophile flag and decided to voice my opposition.  I emailed one of the organizers, CPDA on October 25, but nobody ever responded.

So, fast forward to the weekend everyone's talking about:  Lifetime's "Surviving R Kelly."  I was revisited with the thought of why there was pedophile representation at the Women’s March in October because Kelly was called a pedophile by so many people in the Black community.  But when I responded to a tweet on John Legend's Twitter page with hashtags to #MeToo, #Lifetime and #MoveOn, no one responded.  I followed up with tweets and tagged #Women’sMarch, #MeToo, #TimesUp, #MoveOn and others. They should have been as up in arms as I was about it.  I mean, we're trying to stamp out pedophilia and those who commit it, right?   But again, no response.

What hypocrisy!  You've got a pedophile group being promoted and supported at a women’s march to protest a sexual predator.  And by the same organizations that are vilifying and labeling a Black man as a pedophile. Incidentally, I looked up "pedophile" and it is defined as "sexual attraction towards someone who is prepubescent" which means “before puberty.”  I haven’t seen that in the case of R. Kelly.

These MAPs or pedophiles are coming for our children and I don't mean teens.  I mean babies.  Three weeks ago, I was at the market speaking to a lady about my non-profit, Black Money Matters (shameless plug).  We talked for a while about what's going on in the world.  She said an FBI friend of hers said that there was a child porn ring in Florida with children in diapers performing acts on men and they call it milk “something” I hadn't heard about, so I looked it up.  And it's true!  They busted a child porn ring including eleven employees from Legoland and DISNEY!....Disney?  And guess who owns Lifetime?  DISNEY owns LIFETIME, the same network that produced "Surviving R. Kelly."  The children were as young as three.  Wake up:  They are coming for our babies.  Yet, all anyone seems to care about is "Surviving R. Kelly" which just happened to premiere two weeks before the next Women’s March.  How convenient.

Clearly, the march, this movement, this show are not about sexual assault or pedophilia.  And they’re not even about R. Kelly.  Because if they were, someone would have responded by now.  Instead, they're making publicity rounds on daytime television or posting on social media.  And the leadership would not allow a pedophile flag at the women’s march in October or at this women’s march today.  But I know they will.  You’re saying, “#MuteRKelly” and I’m not knocking your cause.  But how about we organize to #MashMAPs?  They represent known and unknown people in everyday and every walk of life and are far more harmful than some R&B artist.  Yet, they were welcomed and celebrated at women’s marches.

What will it take for #Women’sMarch, #MeToo, #TimesUp or Lifetime to take notice and address this madness?  If it means that I'll have to start playing R. Kelly's music again or attending his concerts to get your attention, then so be it.
